i just received a call from mouthy regarding her daughter's biopsy (for those of you who didn't know, she had a lump in her breast that they took out).
it is benign, not malignant!!
she's so busy with getting ready to move and company that she just didn't have time to post, but she really wanted to thank everyone for their help.
That is wonderful news!!!!!

Ahhhhh....
Life is Grand...
so, when i was little, there was this guy i used to hang around with.
he was like an older brother to me.
in fact, 8 years my senior, he might as well have been.. his mom and my mom were best friends.
I think Richie needs to pursue a career in writing---he has an amazing way with words-and what a touching story!!!
Thanks for sharing...LIG
i'm really intrigued by that fact that i may know some of you and yet not know that i know you.
i just want to know how many people from canada are here.
if you don't mind and don't care about posting your province (cause i'm too timid to) we could all get an idea of just how many canucks are really out there.
I live just outside of toronto!!
yesterday i bought a pair of jeans, and i don't take the same size as years ago.
from 31 inch waist 10 years ago, i buy 33 inch waist jeans now.
a few years ago, i bought many pairs of jeans, and didn't wear them much, thinking i'd be the same weight all my life....lol.
I've kept old comfy jeans for years as I've gained weight-hoping I'd fit into them again one day. Well....over the past year I've lost a bunch of weight(that came from having 3 wonderful kids)...and now the old jeans all fit me(some are even too big now). The problem is, they're all out of style and look ridiculous-my kids make fun of me whenever I wear them. So I had to go out and buy new smaller jeans that are COOL! You just can't win...

i just went out for a walk and here's how it was:.
the wind in my hair reminded me of texas.
turned on a smile which became quite infectious.
Just wanted to say "HEY" to Crumpet....so HEY!!!
while i was in new york i walked by two men and one looked like the comedian jackie mason whom i adore.
i looked at him and said, "i just wanted to say how much i enjoy your shows.
i've seen you perform a number of times".
I had front row seats at a Stones Concert a couple of years ago-I could have touched them-it was SO AMAZING! Keith Richards threw his guitar pick out into the crowd and the girl beside me caught it...I'll never go to another Stones concert again because it'll never be the same. My hubby works for Yamaha and was working a show in Toronto a couple of years ago and Kiefer Sutherland walked right past the booth and locked eyes with him...OH MAN, I would have been all over him like a dirty shirt.... my husband called me today - and right away i knew from the sound of his voice something was wrong.
he didn't say much, just that he had an accident at work and was at the hospital, could i please come right away.
thankfully he was not seriously physically hurt, but he was in shock and they had to give him some lorazepam to settle him down.
I can relate-I got a call from my husband a couple of years back-he was at work and I could tell that he was in huge pain. He was letting me know that his boss was taking him to the Emergency room because he was having severe pain in his abdominal area, but had no idea what was wrong. Of course, I'm just picturing a ruptured appendix, or heaven knows what. Anyways, it's a good hours drive from where I work to the hospital they took him too, so I drove there in a mad panic just imagining the worst the whole way there.
By the time I got there, he had seen a doctor-turned out that he had a kidney stone-I was just so relieved he wasn't dying! Of course, I think HE thought he was going to die, but he made it through!!!
Glad to hear that your husband is going to be okay!
